A 7-day sand & digestive support program formulated especially for horses that may ingest sand, soil, or grit while grazing, eating from the ground, or living in sandy environments.

The main ingredient. Psyllium is a gel-forming soluble fiber that absorbs water and forms a mucilaginous mass, supporting the natural passage of ingested sand through the digestive tract.

• 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 – 150 g

Naturally rich in mucilage-forming fiber and provides additional digestive and nutritional support.

• 𝗣𝗿𝗼-𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗰 – 80 g

Live yeast support for healthy hindgut fermentation, microbial balance, and fiber digestion.

We didn’t want SandCare to be just psyllium.

While psyllium is the primary sand-management ingredient, we combined it with chia, Pro-Sacc, and stabilised flaxseed to provide broader digestive and hindgut nutritional support during the programme.

𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗦𝗘

Adult horse ±500 kg: approximately 140 g per day for 7 consecutive days each month.

Divide between morning and evening feeds where practical and ensure constant access to clean, fresh water.

Please remember: SandCare is intended as nutritional support and does not replace good management. Horses in sandy environments should preferably be fed roughage and concentrate off the ground to help reduce sand ingestion. Horses showing signs of colic or suspected significant sand accumulation require veterinary assessment.
