Nutritional Insect-Season Support for Horses
DIY Skedaddle Mix 1 was formulated for horse owners who want the nutritional concept behind our Skedaddle range without feeding garlic.
Instead of garlic, Mix 1 contains a generous 600 g of Black Cumin Seed Oil Cake (Nigella sativa), together with Brewers Yeast, Neem, Peppermint, Turmeric and Black Pepper.
Each ingredient is supplied separately, allowing you to combine the DIY mix yourself at home.
INGREDIENTS
Black Cumin Seed Oil Cake – 600 g
The nutritious material remaining after Black Cumin Seeds have been pressed for their oil. It retains naturally occurring plant protein, fibre, residual oil and bioactive plant compounds.
Brewers Yeast – 500 g
A natural source of B vitamins, amino acids and other nutrients and traditionally included in feed-through insect-season formulations.
Neem Powder – 300 g
A botanical ingredient traditionally used in natural insect-management programmes.
Peppermint – 100 g
An aromatic herb included as part of the botanical combination.
Turmeric – 100 g
Provides naturally occurring curcuminoids and complements the botanical ingredients in the formulation.
Black Pepper – 10 g
Included alongside turmeric as part of the overall formulation.

WHY CHOOSE MIX 1?
Mix 1 is specifically designed for owners who prefer not to feed garlic. Rather than simply removing garlic from the formula, we have incorporated Black Cumin Seed Oil Cake to create a different nutritional and botanical approach for insect season.
DIY Skedaddle should form part of a complete insect-management programme alongside external fly sprays, protective rugs where required, stable hygiene, manure management and environmental insect management.
